SO MANY TIMES WE PLACE OUR EXPECTATION IN PEOPLE ...

when it really should only be in GOD. 

We often expect others to give us what only GOD has to give. 

We expect others to love us when they themselves have not been loved properly...

and don’t know how.

We think because they are supposed to... they will. 

But someone can only give out of what they have received from GOD themselves

 that meets a need in others. Because we expect something FROM them... 

we put false expectations ON them, and we do this to each other. ..

often without realizing it.

We do this in many ways because we are looking for GOD in the flesh...

.something to hold onto 

and we can respond to with our natural affections or five physical senses.

We want something tangible and we believe GOD isn’t ...

because we can’t see Him.

But GOD says He is the substance (of everything we need) 

of things (we look to people to provide that are)

 hoped for and the (tangible) evidence (and manifestation) 

of what we cannot see in the natural.

Relationship is first and foremost with GOD...

then all fellowships will be an extension of who He is... flowing through us. 

Anything else is an idol.
